What is a Tandoor?
A tandoor is a traditional, picther-shaped oven made of Indian clay which burns with charcoal fire. Its slow and steady heat does not leave the meat dry, rather it helps in retaining the juices and flavors of the meats and baking to perfection. Some Indian breads like Nan, Onion Kulcha, and Tandoor Roti, and Keema Nan are also baked in a tandoor, giving them a distinctive flavor.
